I have experienced custodial staff blocking doorways with mop buckets full of dirty water that smelled of dog urine....it's quite an aroma! If you have never had the joy of this I would highly recommend it.
I noticed a twinkle in my custodian’s eye today as I took a sip of my unattended beverage left in the student lounge. My poor unsuspecting drink was left to fend for itself. After clearing out supplies from a campus event, I noticed the custodian hovering near the entrance door. Maybe he was waiting to see if I'd actually drink my beverage...Maybe he was waiting for me to clear the room so he could get to work….When it's all said and done...I believe he was the true victor today. My fruit punch tasted funny and had a peculiar kick to it. I could hear the custodian’s laugh echo in the hallways
That is exactly why I poured my open unattended beverages out in the parking lot near the shed. Could I have chosen to kill the nearby patch of grass with the sugar; sure, but I boldly chose to let the pavement enjoy the much appreciated shower. You can never be too careful with unruly custodial staff on the loose. Lesson hopefully learned anonymous.
......I now live in fear..... He knows.... He knows I'm the one who told... What is going to happen to me??? He apologized to me but I fear for retaliation... Will the screws on my chair be loosened so that when I sit down I fall and hit my head on the desk and pass out??? Will he take urine or poo from the dogs and put it on my phone and desk???? ....I must stay on high alert.... ....I must keep my eyes open and back to the wall at all times.... What is to become of me now....now that he knows it was me????????

ReplyDeleteI watched in silence as innocent chairs were savagely thrust upon the floor in anger. I am slightly disgusted with myself for doing nothing.

The houseplants that are near my office scare me.
